01 / THE APPROACH
Build around the occasion, not a borrowed venue story.
Adelaide Suite needed a coherent way to introduce weddings and celebrations without relying on the history or photographs of another business. We organised the content around the occasion itself: the people, the atmosphere, the table and the rhythm of the day. That creates useful depth without inventing a room capacity, an event package or a venue location.
The copy separates inspiration from practical planning. A wedding page has room for personal details, while the event-planning guide deals with outlines, table arrangements and transitions. Those subjects connect naturally, but each has enough substance to deserve its own page.
02 / WEBSITE BUILD
An editorial opening, followed by practical detail.
The homepage establishes Adelaide Suite with a centred wordmark, navigation on either side and a full-width table-setting image. Below a short editorial introduction, the wedding and celebration stories sit at different heights. A separate planning section brings the practical details together before the expandable questions.
Supporting pages use centred headings, a compact contents list and a comfortable single reading column. A large opening letter adds a small editorial detail to the first section. Native links and HTML content make the page relationships available independently of the small navigation script.
03 / LOCAL SEO
Turn broad inspiration into distinct subjects.
The local SEO foundations begin with a separate page for each main subject. Titles, descriptions and headings distinguish wedding details from personal celebrations and practical event planning. The homepage links directly into each one, and the supporting pages link back to the related material.
Canonical URLs, a four-page sitemap and basic website structured data make the published structure explicit. We have not added a location, capacity, operating hours or review rating. This is a record of the website and the local SEO foundations implemented, not a claim that a particular venue or Google Business Profile gained visibility.
04 / VISUAL DIRECTION
A celebration in the small details.
Two original still lifes carry the visual direction: an overhead ivory table setting and a closer floral composition against burgundy. They provide a recognisable event subject without borrowing photographs of an actual room or wedding. Rose-toned sections, an asymmetric image layout and spacious italic headings give the pages a distinctive rhythm.
On mobile, the title and introduction sit above the artwork rather than competing with the flowers and table setting. The image is supplied in two responsive sizes, and the footer identifies the imagery as editorial artwork. The result is expressive without allowing a visual to become an unsupported claim about facilities.
THE WORK IN PRACTICE
