01 / THE APPROACH

Make the opening the starting point.

A window or door is more than a finish selected from a photograph. We built Window World around the decisions a reader can actually understand: opening style, proportions, frames, glass and the space around them. That gives the subject depth without inventing a product catalogue, a manufacturer relationship or a portfolio of completed installations.

The homepage moves from the brand into those practical distinctions. Windows, doors and glazing each have a clear place in the navigation, while the copy explains how the choices relate to a room. The emphasis is on useful detail rather than repeated claims about quality or experience.

02 / WEBSITE BUILD

From a strong introduction to a useful guide.

The opening composition pairs the Window World name with a full-width architectural illustration. A direct navigation strip leads into windows, doors and the glazing guide. Below that, two large product-category sections alternate image and explanation, before a darker project-planning section brings the practical considerations together.

The guide format is deliberately lightweight. Content is present in the HTML, a contents list helps with longer pages, and the homepage questions expand without a custom component. On a phone, the navigation opens with a labelled button and the content runs in a single column. The build includes a helpful 404 page instead of sending unknown addresses to the homepage.

03 / LOCAL SEO

Give each subject its own page.

The local SEO foundations distinguish window styles from door choices and project planning. Each main page has a specific title, description, heading and self-referencing canonical. Internal links connect those related subjects directly, and the XML sitemap gives the published page set an explicit record.

We kept structured data limited to supported website and organisation information. No trading location, accreditation, guarantee or customer rating was added. The case study describes what was built and checked; it does not turn a new website launch into an unsupported claim about search rankings or Google Business Profile performance.

04 / VISUAL DIRECTION

Architectural lines, with a brighter accent.

A charcoal masthead, restrained red accents and large architectural images give the page a practical identity. The full-width interior illustration shows the relationship between glazing, light and a room; a separate frame study introduces the product detail. Neither image is presented as a photograph of a completed installation.

Supporting pages use a horizontal contents list and a wider reading grid on desktop, then return to a single column on phones. Local fonts, responsive image files and limited JavaScript keep the experience straightforward. Desktop and phone-width checks cover navigation, images, content bounds and the route back to related information.
